Welcome to The Girls Room
Her body. Her questions. Zero shame.
Body literacy, period health, confidence building, and honest conversations all in one empowering space made just for her.
Jamie and I met through the endometriosis community and we instantly connected. We were two women who could not stop thinking about the girls we once were. The confusion and embarrassment when we got our period. The anxiety of asking questions, the doctors who told us to toughen up, put a heating pad on. Conversations about what it was like to sit in discomfort and not have the language to explain it, wishing someone would just say,
Here's what's happening. Here's what's normal. Here's how to trust yourself.
We started talking about how even today, girls are still being dismissed, medically gaslit, and their pain is normalized. Parents who are trying their best but were never given a roadmap themselves. We decided to create something the both of us wish we had when we growing up.
We believe girls deserve to grow up with clarity instead of confusion, with confidence instead of second guessing and with language instead of silence.
We believe that when a girl understands what is happening inside her body, something powerful shifts. She stops apologizing for what she feels and begins to trust herself. When a parent feels equipped instead of unsure, conversations feel steadier. Support feels stronger and fear softens into guidance. Our vision is simple but deeply important to us. We want girls to grow up believing their bodies are wise, not inconvenient. We want them to recognize early when something needs attention. We want them to speak up without shame. We want them to walk into appointments, classrooms, and friendships knowing they are allowed to take up space.
Girls should not grow up guessing about their bodies. Parents deserve better guidance. We believe knowledge should feel empowering.
Most of all, we believe early education changes lives and we refuse to let the next generation grow up without it. This is the heart behind everything we are building.
Big questions deserve real answers.
She's googling things at midnight. She's wondering if she's "normal." She needs a place that speaks her language — no watered-down textbooks, no awkward silences. Just straight-up honesty from people who get it.
"I wish someone had told me all of this when I was her age."
